2011 made us live our faith; we're Catholic and we preach having trust and faith in our Lord's plan. However, we are human and sometimes lack faith and try to control things ourselves. This year we were handed so many things that we couldn't control and we had to learn to have trust and faith. My mom always tells me "offer it up to God" and I have offered many things up to God this year. Even though this year was tough, we SURVIVED it! We got through all that was thrown our way as a family and we are stronger because of it.
This year brought me a new love of my life - my son. I didn't know being a mom would feel this amazing! I also didn't know watching the original love of my life in a new role as dad would be so perfect. Tim and I always talked about being married and having a family together but actually making this happen was truly a dream come true : ) I can't wait to watch Liam grow even more in 2012 and to eventually celebrate his first birthday - craziness!!
After the year I've had, my only advice for 2012 is to live every moment as your last. Enjoy every second you have with those you love because you never know what the future has in store. Most importantly - LIVE life, LOVE endlessly, let yourself be HAPPY, and be PROUD of the person you are! Looking forward to what 2012 has in store or us : )
